The 295 Church Condominium Project is located in downtown Salem, Oregon. Cascadia Development partnered with the City of Salem to develop this five-story building. Along with 1,800 square feet of retail space, the ground floor is anchored by studios and offices for Salem’s public access television station. The top three floors host 27 residential condominium units ranging from 900 to 1600 square feet.
Commercial real estate agents are tasked with condominium sales. Together with the client, Cascadia Development, we established the need for brand messaging, a marketing plan, sales collateral, and help with a grand opening event and plan implementation.
I met with the client to learn more about the target demographic, market position and the existing competition for the condominiums. We developed a visibility plan to highlight 295 Church’s brand position and differentiate these condos from their existing condo competition. I made some minor modifications to the logo, prepared print ads, sales brochures, direct mailers, billboards, a website, and provided event collateral and communications for the grand opening event. Despite the market down turn, the condos received great visibility and all units sold ahead of their neighboring competition.
